Role and Responsibilities

  • Designed, developed, deployed, and tested web and mobile applications.
  • Upgraded the application from Rails 4 to Rails 5 as a key initial task.
  • Redesigned the web application and added new features, including Triplogs, Events, Blog, Live Chat, Gear Swap, and user feeds similar to LinkedIn. Implemented Rails 5 ActionCable for chat and real-time notifications.
  • Utilized Ruby Grape to create REST APIs for mobile applications and developed cross-platform mobile apps using React Native for Android and iOS.
  • Managed hosting with DigitalOcean and DNS with iPower.
  • Ensured the web application is live and mobile apps are available in the Google Play Store and App Store.
